As an active member of the Sigma Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated she has served in several Executive Committee Offices and as committee chairs.
She has served as guest speaker for many subjects including "The Criminal Justice System", "Careers in the Legal Field", "How to Get (And Keep) A Job".
She enjoys spending time mentoring and speaking to young members of our community including serving as a speaker for the My Sister's Keeper (MSK) program for "The Day of the Girl" and conducting a teen dating violence workshop for First Baptist Church Garmon Street's Brother-to-Brother program.
A 2017 recipient of the Justice Benham Award For Community Service, an award presented by the State Bar of Georgia to attorneys who exemplify outstanding service to their communities.
She is a 2017 recipient of Resolutions from both the Georgia State Senate and Georgia House of Representatives acknowledging her work on elder abuse cases in Houston County.
